I specialize in creating figures for scientific, medical, academic, and educational literature.

I create 2D figures using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and traditional art media such as ink, watercolor, charcoal, acrylic paint, etc.

I also create 3D models using polymer clay, ceramics, and other traditional and non-traditional art media.

Timeline of Events:

Initial Contact:

Contact me to set up a free meeting using the contact page. We can meet in person (if local), over Skype, Google Hangouts, or over the phone.

First Meeting:

During the first meeting we will discuss your project, ideas of how to best illustrate your data and concepts, pricing, and how long it will take to complete.

First Draft:

I will put together a first draft of your figures and send them to you by email.

Editing Phase:

This phase involves several rounds of comments and drafts until the figures are to your satisfaction.

Final Approval:

When you are happy with the figures, I will send you a high resolution image suitable to upload with your manuscript. These will be delivered by email or Dropbox.

The amount of time from the first meeting to completed figures typically takes about 2-4 weeks.

However, the timeline may vary greatly based upon your project, your deadlines, your availability for comments/edits, and the number of edits needed. I will be able to estimate the timeline more accurately during the initial meeting.
